IAM C.R.E.S.T. provided training for an OSHA OTI 511 prerequisite class for DOE Instructors in General Industry Standards to Union Members of the IAM, ICWUC and IBEW through the International Chemical Workers Union Center for Workers Health and Safety in Knoxville, Tennessee. Participants were instructed and participated in group exercises for Introduction to OSHA and the OSH Act and Inspections, Citations and Penalties, Hazard Communication and Access to Records, Walking Working Surfaces, Exit Routes & Fire Protection, Hazardous Materials, Machine Safeguarding, Electrical Safety, Welding, Cutting, Brazing, Lockout Tagout, Confined Spaces, PPE and Industrial Hygiene.
