OSHA Resuming Regular Enforcement Along Most of U.S. Gulf Coast

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will resume regular enforcement of job safety and health standards throughout much of the hurricane-impacted U.S. Gulf Coast according to the News Release: USDL 06-119-NAT for January 20, 2006.
As of Jan. 25, normal enforcement will be conducted throughout Florida and Alabama, in Mississippi north of Interstate 10, and in Louisiana except in seven parishes in and around New Orleans.
