Progress for Child Care Advocacy in Canada

Recently, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CCC) adopted a policy resolution for a Universal Early Childhood Development Program. We applaud this resolution because it recognizes the importance of universality, the value of quality child care and the leadership role that the Canadian Federal Government should play to make it happen.

The growth in demand for universal child care as demonstrated by the CCC’s resolution is encouraging and reinforces that now more than ever we need to keep placing pressure on all levels of government to take action on child care. Together our voices make a difference. We look forward to our work together in 2010!   Click to read the resolution.
