Flight Attendant Election Set to Conclude

The deadline for voting in the one of the largest representation elections in National Mediation Board (NMB) history is 2 PM Eastern Time Wednesday, June 29th.
The historic representation election will determine who will represent the Flight Attendant group at the new United Airlines created by the merger of Continental, Continental Micronesia and United Airlines.
Flight Attendants at Continental and Continental Micronesia are represented by the IAM and Flight Attendants at United are currently represented by another union. The election is being conducted by the NMB, the federal agency with representation jurisdiction over the rail and airline industries.
Election results of the telephone and internet voting will be tabulated shortly after voting closes at 2 PM Eastern Time and will be posted on www.iamnow.org as soon as they are available.
