    Tell Congress to Extend Federal Unemployment Benefits

    Nearly 1.3 million jobless Americans are expected to lose their federal unemployment benefits just after the Christmas holiday unless Congress acts by December 28, 2013. Another 1.9 million are expected to lose their benefits by June 2014. After changes to the program in early 2012, there is no longer any phase-out for federal unemployment insurance.
