Union Privilege, the organization that offers Union Plus consumer benefits programs exclusively to labor union members, assists union members buying or refinancing a home through the Union Plus Mortgage Program.
The Union Plus Mortgage program through Wells Fargo Home Mortgage offers members and their family members the opportunity to save money when buying or refinancing a home with a full range of financing options; as well as mortgage assistance loans and strike assistance grants when qualified members need financial assistance in a crisis.
Qualified members may also be eligible to receive a $500 My Mortgage Gift award from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, and from Union Plus, the opportunity to earn a $500 FirstTime Home Award. Please note that the First-Time Home Award is offered only to active and
retired union members in good-standing.
Opportunities are also available under the Union Plus Mortgage for union members who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces who financed their primary residence after October 31, 2014. Eligible members may qualify to apply for a special $1,000 grant. Funding is limited so qualified members should apply immediately.
