During the week of February 24-26, 2016, ten I.A.M. C.R.E.S.T Associate Instructors from various stations across the country representing United Airlines, Southwest Airlines & American Airlines, participated in a Trainers Exchange held at Local Lodge 1776 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The program afforded trainers the opportunity to share new and existing ideas about the training occurring at various airline industry sites.

Currently, IAM CREST Associate Instructors provide site-specific training for workers in the airline industry who handle dangerous goods by air. The training is provided by a grant funded by the DOT Pipeline and Hazardous Material Safety Administration.
